We’re kind of loving Pinterest these days. So many pretty things to see, so many crafts to try, so many ideas for back to school, reading, and literacy.

Some of these boards are well pinned, others are new and just starting to be populated. We’re particularly excited about our newest board, Shop Local For Our Book—it’s a place where we can recognize the fabulous retailers who are selling our books. We’re so excited to team with them and believe strongly in the Shop Local cause.
There are tons of excellent reasons to shop local, including to:
- support local economy
- provide local jobs
- create community
- keep up the local tax base
- promote competition
We love being online and are happy for you to buy our book directly from our website. In fact, our posters, canvas prints and book bags are currently only available online or at events we attend personally. Our Kickstarter was conducted entirely online, and we’re grateful. But we also know that the unique, indie bookstores, pet shops and boutiques—which are disappearing at an alarming rate—help keep our communities vibrant, interesting and alive. So we love when you shop us online, and we love it just as much when you shop for our books at one of our retailers.
